Ahmad Taufik has over 20 years experienced in oil and gas industries and is a Certified Reliability & Maintenance Professional (CMRP). In 2008, Taufik is a risk engineering consultant for PGN, Pertamina Gas, ConocoPhilips, Chevron Pacific Indonesia, BP Tangguh, Medco E&P, CNOOC, Petrochina. Premier Oil, PHE-WMO, PHE-ONWJ, Pertamina Refinery (UP IV ad UP VI), Transgasindo, Pertamina Gas, Pearl Oil, and Badak LNG Bontang, ENI, Vale, Saudi Aramco and Ma’aden (KSA), Adco and Mubadala Petroleum (UEA), PTT (Thailand). From 2005 to 2015 He was also consultant for Lloyd’s Register, ABS, and BV.
Taufik has performed in depth study in integrity research for pipeline and pressurized system. He was member of ASM and ASME Professional Organization. In Bandung he thought and supervised students on risk and integrity assessment related courses.
Ahmad Taufik received Ph.D., from Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), Atlanta, USA (1996). He has a wide interest in risk engineering areas including AIMS, RBI, RCFA, FTA, QRA, RCM, ECA, and RAM study. For the last fifteen years, he has been Chairman and Speaker for many International Conferences in Indonesia (INDOPIPE, MAPREC), Singapore and Malaysia (ASCOPE) and Chine (IPTEC).
