Risk based inspection (RBI) has became a major tool in inspection management for pressurized system, and it has already entered a mature stage, particularly in oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and power industries. For the last twenty years, numerous study and research have been conducted in major engineering universities leading to countless papers and journals produced around the world.
In practice, to be more effective, the inspection plan and managing data, an RBI software should also be built and utilized. The following is example of such software, @Risk Performa, which was developed according to API 581 (2016).
